Backpacking Basics II

Sun, Apr 22, 2018

This class is designed for those that have attended our Backpacking Basics I class. We will put the skills you learned to the test. We will hike a little over a mile to a campsite on the Pine Mountain Trail at FDR State Park. You will bring all your gear and you will set up camp, cook your food, filter water, and much more. Waiting until you are out on the trail is not the time to test your skills and your gear. Join us in a safe environment where we can make adjustments and give guidance. You should pack your backpack as if you were actually going on a backpacking trip. We will complete a gear check and give recommendations. This is a small group event, so we have limited spots.
