Girls Weekend Camp Out & Trail Safety Class

Join us for a fun weekend camping out with just the girls. If food, fun, relaxing, and laughter sounds like a good time, then join us. We will camp at the F.D. Roosevelt Campground.  Car camping, bathrooms, and showers don't make for roughing it, but we will have a blast. Tents, sleeping pads, and sleeping bags will be waiting for you, all you have to bring is personal items and a pillow. Everything will be set up and waiting for you. Meals are included and will be cooked for you while you relax.

If you have an interest in the collection, preservation, or presentation of material culture, historical reenacting, traditional skills, and historical processes, we would love for you to join our dedicated team of volunteers. Living history is an educational medium that incorporates historical tools, activities and dress into an interactive presentation that seeks to give observers and participants a sense of stepping back in time.We are hosting a series of Free Living History Workshops in preparation for our upcoming RiverBlast! Join us for a fun weekend camping out and horseback riding with just the girls. If food, fun, relaxing, and laughter sounds like a good time, then join us. We will camp at the F.D. Roosevelt Campground. We will have everything set up and waiting for you. All you have to bring is personal items and a pillow. Meals will be prepared while you relax around the campfire. Saturday we will put on our cowgirl hats and spend two hours trail riding. We will ride to the top of the mountain and enjoy the view from the Lake Franklin overlook.
