T'ai Chi Ch'uan has been reported by the Johns Hopkins Medical Letter to relieve stress, improve balance and prevent falls, enhance the quality of sleep, reduce arthritis and back pain, lower blood pressure, and boost immune and cardiovascular function. Topics to be covered include learning the Yang style Very Elementary Set, 8 Brocades Qigong, fall prevention, an overveiw of Drl. Lam's approach to back pain, and learning to percieve and enjoy the internal flow of chi energy. Self defense applications will be demonstrated.
