Our next Victorian Tea will celebrate Mothers! In commemoration of Mother’s Day, The National Civil War Naval Museum will be presenting a “Mother’s Day Tea.” Ladies, you are invited to join us at the National Civil War Naval Museum for a proper 19th century Victorian Tea – with china cups, scones, clotted cream, and a light lunch. As part of the event, Executive Director Holly Wait, will offer a program highlighting some very special moms during this important part of history. She will also touch on the important roles women played during The Civil War. We will have live music as a soundtrack to this lovely afternoon, where we will be celebrating the important women in our lives- our mothers.
When: 1:00 p.m. on Sat. May 13th
Cost: Admission & Cup & Saucer at the Museum -$20 Mommy & Me Combo: Admits 2 w/ 2 Cups & Saucers- $35 (only available online)
Where: National Civil War Naval Museum at Port Columbus, 1002 Victory Drive in Columbus, Georgia. Due to the great response that this event has received in the past, we are now going to require that tickets be purchased by Tuesday, May 9th @ 5 PM to ensure that there is adequate food/refreshments.
